How BIG is God's NOSE? (real big)
Did you know that if you have a big nose you’re a lot more patient person? I’m kidding, your nose doesn’t really have anything to do with patience.
But in the Bible, when we read that God is “slow to anger”, the literal Hebrew words say that He has a long nose!
This little turn of phrase doesn’t mean that God literally has a long nose, or that if you have a big nose you’re actually more patient. It comes the idea that when you get angry, your face and especially your nose turn red, like they’re hot.Â
So if you don’t get angry very easily, your nose doesn’t get hot so easy, as if you had a long nose. You can read more about how God is slow to anger:
