The Story so Good, They Told It FOUR Times in a Row!
You know how there’s a bunch of “National Day of This” or “Something or Another Awareness Day”? Today is actually a pretty good one, it’s “National Tell a Story Day”!
And of course, one of the best stories ever told is the story of Jesus’s life on earth. In fact, it’s so good, the Bible tells it four times! That’s what the four Gospels in the New Testament are.
The book of Matthew tells us how Jesus is a new and greater Moses, the book of Mark tells us how Jesus brings a new start for humanity, Luke shows us how Jesus is like the royal servant from the book of Isaiah, and John focuses on how Jesus IS Yahweh, how He IS God Who became human to save us.
