How to Have J.O.Y. this School Year! – Crack the Code Giveaway

We are Cracking the Code to a great school year together on Keys for Kids Radio. The thing is we all know that some bad things will happen this year. So how can we have a great school year even when things aren’t going the best?  

The secret to cracking this code is…you guessed it, Jesus! If we keep our eyes on Jesus no matter what is going on around us we can have Joy.

Have you heard of the way some people spell the word JOY?  It’s Jesus, Others and You. When we put Jesus first it helps us to trust Him. Jesus doesn’t make mistakes but He also doesn’t promise that things will always be sunshine and smiles. BUT He does promise to be with us.

This is how we can have JOY! Trust Jesus with the good, the bad and the ugly and you will have Joy, down deep in your heart. And an amazing school year too!

How do we keep Jesus first? Things like reading our Bible, praying, memorizing Bible verses, going to church are a great place to start. If we make it a habit to keep Jesus in the front of our minds instead of the back we will have the peace and joy that only Jesus can give. Are you ready to put Jesus first?

There’s an older song we used to play on Keys for Kids Radio that may be a good help. Take a listen….and maybe sing it when you need to be reminded to put Jesus first. We all need that!
