Why Does God Make It Harder for Himself?
Have you ever noticed in the Bible how God makes it harder for Himself?
He just doesn’t take the easy route, like having a mighty warrior defeat Goliath; He chose David, who was young and didn’t have any military experience and only took five stones with him.
Or when He led His people Israel to a dead end at the Red Sea, when they were being chased by the most powerful military in the world at the time.
Why does He do stuff like that? That way, when He’s made it clear that what He’s doing is not humanly possible, people will look at it and say, “Only God could do that!”
