If I told you there was a robot that was 14 feet long, had 7,000 complex parts, and cost almost a million dollars, what do you think it would make?
Alex Vardakostas invented this machine to do what you might think is a very simple task: to make a hamburger.
He grew up flipping burgers at his parent’s restaurant, so maybe he got so tired of doing it, he wanted a machine to do it for him!
That combined with his engineering degree meant he knew exactly what he wanted to build.
