Do the Olympic Rings Mean Anything?

If you’ve been watching the Olympics, you’ve seen the symbol of the games a whole bunch—you know, that group of five rings all stuck together. Honestly, I never really thought about the Olympic rings too much until my friend Riah sent me a video about them.

Turns out, they really do mean something! Each ring represents the five continents that send athletes to the Olympics, and each continent has its own color; I never knew the continents had special colors either. And the way that the rings lock together is meant to show how the world comes together to compete peacefully.
