Banana Peel Slap Bracelet Grass Seed!
I never thought I’d be fascinated by seeds of grass, but it turns out some kinds of grass fling their seeds through the air like a banana peel slap bracelet!
That’s kind of a silly description but it’s exactly how Destin from SmarterEveryDay describes arabidopsis thaliana (that’s the type of grass).
They literally slingshot their seeds through the air and it’s so cool to see in slo-mo! It’s how God designed it so they could spread and grow new grass and reproduce.
Plus, it’s just delightful to see how much joy Destin gets from learning about grass seed!
