Prayer Pail: Remember to Pray with Crafts!

Do you ever wonder what you should pray for? After all, you can talk to God about ANYTHING, so it can be hard to narrow it down sometimes.
With the school year starting with new challenges (and maybe even at a new school!), you might want to fill up your Prayer Pail with back-to-school prayer requests.
If you need help deciding, you can try drawing a stick from your very own Prayer Pail!

All you need to do is get a bunch of big craft sticks, markers, and a small pail, Mason jar, or other container. Write down a bunch of names on the sticks and decorate them, then put them all in the pail.
When it’s your turn to pray before dinner or you’re praying before bed (or really whenever), you can pull a name from the Prayer Pail and pray for that person specifically.
You can also write different things about going to school on the craft sticks, and if you pull one of them, you can pray for God’s help and guidance in that area! Some ideas might be: helping others with homework, treating friends kindly, welcoming new classmates, or working hard on your own schoolwork.

You can spend a lot of time decorating your pail and the sticks – get more ideas and details from Kristin on this blog post!
