Love Snacking on Apples? You Could Help Your School
You know they say, “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”? An apple a day could also help your school.Â
According to News USA, a  group of apple farmers called the US Apple Association is donating to schools when you share photos of eating an apple. They promised to help certain schools with new equipment or resources for each apple photo shared on Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #apples4ed or uploaded to their website apples4ed.com.
The first year they ran this, over 20,000 votes were sent in! This past year, in 2016, US Apple and their partners donated over $17,000 to different schools.
