Hannah Beat The Odds and Ran the Princess 5k!

Sometimes life can seem really unfair and hard for no reason – like you want to do big things but you feel like you’re being held back.

Hannah Herman definitely had some unfair difficulties. First, she was born with a clubfoot which kept her from walking right; second, she was abandoned at an orphanage as a baby; and third, that orphanage was in Kazakhstan! That’s way over in Asia by Mongolia. A tough place to be born!

Hannah was adopted by the Hermans, a family in the United States, and when she was two – all of sudden – she could walk even with her clubfoot! She got better and better and she even ran the Disney Princess 5k with her mom at 10 years old.

So even though she had a lot of difficulties, she overcame them. Watch a video about Hannah’s journey:
