Have you ever read the Little House on the Prairie books? I read a bunch of them and I really liked learning what life was like at a whole different time and place.
Living on a farm on the frontier is way way different than living in a comfortable house today, but one thing that frontier towns and cities today have in common is churches!
Even though life was really hard in the American West in the 1800s, people still thought it was important to take time and money to build a place to worship together and learn about God.
A lot of those church buildings got lost, but if you’re determined enough and you don’t mind hiking through the woods, you can still hunt them down.
