Let your speech always be gracious! With Kid President
Have you noticed how people aren't always very nice to each other? It’s easy to say mean and nasty things about each other, especially when we’re upset, but it can be a lot harder to be nice when other people are rude to us.
So it’s good to have a reminder once in a while of what we can do to treat others with love and respect!
The Kid President has 20 things we should say more often, and some of them sound like they came straight from the Bible. One of the 20 things to say is to say nothing sometimes!
Proverbs 17:27-28 says, “The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered. Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent,  and discerning if they hold their tongues.”
