Mini Pumpkins and Dancing Corn

Are you looking for something fun to do outside this Thanksgiving? Why not have a Mini Pumpkin Hunt? It’s kind of like an Easter Egg hunt except you use mini pumpkins! Or you could do it inside too if the weather doesn’t cooperate. If you are stuck inside you can always try using candy pumpkins instead. Sweet!

Once you have found all the pumpkins you can have a decorating contest….paint the pumpkins fun colors, use glitter, or cut out feathers to make them into turkeys. You are only limited by your imagination. Have fun!

Dancing Corn Directions

Fill a glass with water ¾ full 

Dissolve 2 tablespoons of baking soda into the water 

Add half a cup of popcorn kernels

Lastly add ½ cup of white vinegar 

Let the dancing begin! The corn will dance for a couple mins. If you want to keep it going you can always add more baking soda to keep the party going!
