His Son Smashed an Egg to Explain Sin!
Who doesn’t like to get special permission to make a huge mess??
Matt and his son make an exception to their house rules to smash some eggs! Not just for fun (though I bet it was a ton of fun), but so they could show us different ways we break God’s commands, whether we do it on purpose or not.
Sin isn’t just about making bad choices. It’s bigger than that. It’s a problem that affects everything and everyone, even when we try our hardest to be good.
But don’t worry – the story doesn’t end with broken eggs! Jesus is the only one who never “broke an egg” (never sinned), which makes Him uniquely perfect and able to help us with our sin problem. He’s the hero of the story!
