Jacob and Esau were kinda like us
Do you ever fight with your brothers or sisters over toys or games or tablet time? You might feel like you’re not getting your fair share of playing with the best stuff at your house and you want more.
That’s kinda like how Jacob and Esau treated each other in the Old Testament. Esau was the first born, so he was supposed to inherit most of his father’s stuff like animals and land and money. Jacob was born second and he wasn’t going to inherit nearly as much.
So you know what Jacob did? He tricked his brother into giving him everything that Esau was supposed to get!
