You can play the…LEAF?
When youâre in school you might learn an instrument and play in band. For me, I learned the E-flat saxophone and guitar. I still remember how to play guitar but I have no idea on the saxophone anymore.
Those instruments can cost a lot of money, so have you ever considered playing something very low cost, something you can literally go outside and pick up from the ground? I’m talking about…playing the leaf!
In China a group of people called the Buyi have a tradition of picking leaves off trees and using them to play music!
You have to find a nice smooth leaf, it should be pretty flat with a bit of curved edge. Fold the edge over a bit, put it in your mouth and blow!
