Easy Snacks YOU Can Make (Honey and Garlic Breadsticks for Kids)

What’s been your favorite summer activity so far? Maybe going to camp or VBS, road trip with your family, or just playing outside.
You get pretty hungry with all that, so maybe you want to make some new snacks!
I found a recipe for toasted honey bread and toasted garlic bread, and it looks absolutely delicious and really easy to make.
You will need to use the oven and cut some bread, so you’ll need a grownup’s help.
Check out the recipe video:
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of bread
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- Sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp parsley flakes
- 1/4 tsp salt
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 360 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cut each slice of bread into 4 smaller slices, making 16 breadsticks total.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and lay out the 16 breadsticks evenly on the sheet.
- Melt the butter in the microwave for 30 seconds.
- Mix the honey with the butter, and brush the mixture onto eight of the breadsticks.
- Mix the olive oil, garlic powder, parsley flakes, and salt, and brush the mixture onto the remaining eight breadsticks.
- Bake the breadsticks at 360 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes, until toasted.
