Reading to a Dog to build Confidence

Do you get nervous when you have to read in front of a group?

Being in the spotlight isn’t always comfortable, especially if you feel like you’re not a great reader. 

But there’s something pretty fun you can do to become a more confident reader, and that’s reading to a dog!

These kids practiced their skills by reading out loud to a dog. Pepper the Dalmatian is a rescue dog that is brought into an elementary school for the kids to practice their reading out loud.

They like Pepper because he helps calm them down and they do not have to worry about the dog telling them what they did wrong.
