Building a New Arm from LEGOS

Legos are pretty fun to play with. I like that there’s instructions to build like a castle or a dragon, or something specific. 

But even better, you can use them to build stuff no one’s ever thought of!

For example, David Aguilar even used Legos to build himself a new arm! When he was born, his right arm didn’t fully develop, so he doesn’t have a right hand. 

He grew up loving to build with Legos, and he used that knowledge to make a prosthetic arm. (‘Prosthetic’ means it’s like a replacement body part.)

He can do push-ups with it, open doors, grab stuff, it’s really cool:
