Top 5 Ways to Make Snowmen Without Snow

We’re likely to have a brown Christmas here at Keys for Kids Radio headquarters, and if you don’t think you’ll have a bunch of snow either, then check out these ways to make a snowman anyway!

• Make a snowman at the beach out of sand, or even in your own backyard if you have a sandbox.

• Fake snow is easy to make anywhere and only requires a couple of ingredients. Get a pan and add baking soda and either hair conditioner or shaving cream to create a fun snow-like mixture you can make a snowman out of. For easier instant fake snow, you just need to mix salt and sugar and then add water and see what happens!

• Exploding Snowman in a Ziploc baggie. This is super fun but you may want to try it outside as the baking soda and vinegar make quite a splash.

• Make a snowman out of food! The easiest way is to use round fruit like an orange or apple or even grapes. Marshmallows work great too as they are already white. You can make a whole family.
• Lego Snowmen are fun and easy to make and you don’t have to have a special kit to do it. The snowmen kits are cool but here’s a couple ways to make a snowmen with just regular bricks.
