Now that summer’s here, you finally get a break from school! No more homework, tests, book reports...but maybe those are being replaced by other things. Summer camp, sports clinics, vacation Bible school, there’s a lot of stuff that can fill up your time in the summer.
In the middle of being so busy, it’s still important to take the time to rest and recharge! In the Bible, this is called shabbat or sabbath, where God calls His people (first the Israelites and now all Christians) to take a break from their regular routine and spend time with each other and Him.
