What are YOU Thankful For?

The Bible says “Let them give thanks to the LORD for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for mankind, for He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.” – Psalm 107:8-9

Thanksgiving is here! That means good food, family, football, and more food. I'm really looking forward to seeing some of my family that I haven't seen in a really long time and getting to hear what they've been up to.

It also means taking some time to think about the good things God has given you, and thanking Him for all the good things He's done.

Do you love your mom and dad? God gave you your parents, so you can thank Him for being in a good family. Do you have a bed to sleep in and a house or apartment to live in? God provided those for you and your family too.

Telling God how thankful you are isn't just for Thanksgiving Day though. You can tell him every day of the year! Whenever you realize something that He's given you, take just a minute to tell Him that you love Him and you're thankful for what He's done. Here are a few things that other kids are thankful for:

Cameron is grateful for toys, pictures, fast cars, crayons, Aunt Ky, his friend Lydia, Mom and Dad, giraffe's at the zoo, roads, and his food!

Harper says he's thankful for martial arts and his family, and Jane is grateful for “a roof over my head, food in my belly, and a family full of love.”

What are you grateful for? Tell me what you want to thank God for by calling me at 800-819-5437, and you could have the chance to thank God right on Keys for Kids Radio!
