Video Games Replacing Professional Sports?
One of the cooler things to come out of everyone staying at home has been the baseball and basketball video game tournaments played by the actual players.
Major League Baseball set up the Show League with members from all 30 teams playing a regular and postseason lasting about a month and the virtual World Series on May 2.
The NBA started the 2K Players Tournament which lasted about 10 days with 16 professional basketball players.
I think my favorite part of checking out the games was just seeing where each player was, what their house was like and what you could see about their life that way. One player had a whole set of shelves with shoes in his living room!
