One thing my kids used to do when they were younger was make a pretend museum. All you really need is a table to display items you find around the house and yard, with labels explaining each one. Use your imagination! The rock isn't from the back yard; it's actually from the moon! Or your grandpa’s hat was actually worn by a soldier from the Revolutionary War.
If you can’t find the things you want to display, create them yourself. It’s amazing what you can do with Legos and shoe boxes! Don’t forget to tell all the fun stories that go with your displays. After some creative thinking you will be able to write stories about each item in your museum.
Now all you have to do is invite your friends and family over for a tour, with you as the tour guide of course! Have fun!
