Meet the Miracle Okapi!
Have you ever heard of the okapi before? Itâs a kind of animal found in Africa.
Theyâre like the size and shape of a small horse, but theyâve got little antlers like giraffes and some stripes on their back legs like zebras.
The Houston Zoo had a baby okapi named âMiraqâ, which means miracle in French. Heâs called that because his mom has heart problems and the zoo people thought sheâd never have babies because of it.
