How to Build Your Own Computer

What do you think of when people talk about computers? An iPad, tablet, smartphone?

Those are all computers of course, but they’re not easy to understand how they work inside. You can't (and shouldn't try) open them up very easily and see what the bits and pieces are.

So if you wanted to learn more about making computers and apps, what would you do?

A company in the United Kingdom named Kano wants to help kids like you be able to build your own computer! They’ll send you a kit with all the pieces a computer is made out of with instructions on how to put it together, but after that you have to figure it out.

It’s the first step to building a robot to clean your room for you, so you know, that’s a pretty good investment!
