Gardens Keep Families Together

Does your family have a garden? Hopefully you had some pretty flowers or great big vegetables this year. Gardens are a lot of hard work, but they can also help kids just like you all around the world.

According to News USA, one problem in some countries is when the parents go away to work, the kids stay home by themselves and don’t go to school. So to help the parents stay home and send their kids to school, a charity called ChildFund is teaching parents to grow gardens.

If the family has a big garden or farm, they can sell enough fruits and vegetables to make a living without going far away to work. That helps those kids learn at school and be able to take care of their family.

Maybe it sounds like fun to never go to school, but if you have some good book knowledge, you'll be able to do a lot of great things for God!
