Do You Want to Study Comic Books in School?

Do you ever read comics online or in a comic book? They’re super funny sometimes. 

But some people think they’re more than just funny, they think comics are important to study. Comics can change the way people think about important stuff like politics and if God is real, big things like that.

So, the University of Dundee in Scotland became the first university in the United Kingdom to offer a degree in what they call ‘comic studies’.

Dr. Chris Murray, the professor in charge of teaching the new degree, says that students will learn to write and draw their own comics too! To me, it’d be as much fun as getting a degree in playing Super Mario Party!
