9 Year Old Giving Away Special Blankets for Kids with Autism
Alivia Henning is 9 years old, and she is making a big difference for kids like herself. She has autism, and one thing that helps kids like her feel better is a weighted blanket, an extra heavy blanket to feel really snugged in.
Her mom wanted her to have one too, but they're really expensive! ($150-$200 for just one blanket!)
So Alivia and her mom figured out how to make these blankets, and now they’re giving them away to other families who need them but can’t afford them.
