These kids practiced their skills by reading out loud to a dog. Pepper the Dalmatian is a rescue dog that is brought into an elementary school for the kids to practice their reading out loud.
They like Pepper because she helps calm them down and they do not have to worry about the dog telling them what they did wrong.
