Do you ever see a needy person and wonder how you can help? Maybe feel like you’re too young to do anything. Don't let that stop you!
Hailey Fort was just five years old when she first saw a homeless man, and she really wanted to help him. She asked her mom what they could do. She began growing her own garden of vegetables so she could pass out fresh food, and at one time she planned on growing 250 pounds in just one season!
When she was nine, she built small sleeping shelters on wheels for homeless people. That way they would feel safe and they would be out of the rain and snow on bad nights. The first one went to her friend Edward, who was always really nice to her and could use it the best. She even started a GoFundMe page to raise money to build more!
